The Marvel film universe between the Sony films and the Marvel Cinematic Universe has found itself in the most expressive era for these projects yet. On the one hand, these projects could explore the complexity of a hero like Moon Knight. But on the other, audiences could explore the whimsical side of things with She-Hulk. That said, it's through the history of She-Hulk that a character like Morbius could finally earn his way into the MCU without compromising the public persona his film has garnered.

When Morbius released in theaters, he quickly rose in meme culture as an unlikely character that would sweep the box office and usher in a new era of superhero films. Of course, this never happened, but the fad did help put Morbius into the cultural zeitgeist in a way none expected. Now, his inclusion into the MCU has felt like something that his character deserves. Plus, with the multiverse as a constant, it could be a matter of time before his exploits merge with the larger MCU. But how would he earn a logical spot in the world once he's there?

In the comics, Morbius was a complex villain as he was three parts a scientist, a villain and a hero. Perhaps the most interesting thing he contributed to in the books was that, while trying to cure himself, he managed to aid Jennifer Walters and her transformations into She-Hulk. Thanks to his work, she could transform at will and not lose intelligence. The only catch would be that she'd have to endure the pain of changing. But through this, Morbius could find a way in the MCU as a scientist and evolve from there.

There are two situations that could require the aid of the Living Vampire. The first involves a blue-eyed Thing and his constant desire to be Ben Grimm again. Reed's mission to change him back was something he dedicated his adult life to, to make amends for his mistake. However, the change was permanent save for some instances where he could revert to Ben for a short time. But with the help of Morbius, that latter option could be something that could work for Ben. He may still be Thing, but it's still possible Morbius could give him at least one hour as Ben.

Another character that would tie more closely to She-Hulk would be Bruce Banner. As of now, Bruce has got the Hulk's personas well under control. However, that may not last forever. As comics have shown, Bruce has never permanently had control of his savage side. As a result, it could take someone like Morbius to help him garner at least a fraction of the balance he had, and while it may not work as it did for Jennifer, it could be enough to further Bruce's story and Michael's as a man who can help others but not himself.

From there, it would be easy to push Morbius into a more heroic light, teaming up with Blade to protect others from monsters using science and strength. He could even resent the aid he's given at the cost of his own happiness and become a villain for Spider-Man for a time. At this point, his options would be limitless, and it could be because of a brief moment with She-Hulk that Morbius could finally fit in the MCU.
