Some diehard Marvel Comics fans have been lobbying for a Moon Knight series on Netflix since the five original series were announced, and now former Daredevil showrunner Steven S. DeKnight has joined the chorus of voices pleading for a TV adaptation of the character.

There have been rumors and rumblings of Moon Knight receiving his own show on the streaming platform for years, but nothing has ever been made official -- or announced publicly, at least. "I wouldn’t mind taking a crack at Moon Knight at some point," DeKnight told IGN, though he has projects in the pipeline that would seemingly get in the way of his involvement should it come into fruition.

"There are so many characters that I love in the Marvel universe. Really, for me, it would be about schedule. My schedule these days, as you imagine, is a little tight," DeKnight continued. "God, you know, when I signed onto Daredevil, I expressed an interest in Iron Fist and the Punisher, which I both loved. I’d love to see Moon Knight get a little bit of love. Great, great character."

The chances of Moon Knight coming to Netflix are slim, especially when you consider Disney's upcoming streaming service. It's said that Marvel and Netflix's partnership will not extend beyond the series they're currently producing together, which includes DaredevilJessica JonesLuke Cage, Iron Fist, and The Punisher.
