During a press conference for Marvel Studios' next Disney+ original series, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier actor Sebastian Stan expressed his excitement to see Star Wars alum Oscar Isaac play the Marvel Cinematic Universe's version of Marc Spector, aka Moon Knight."One character that sounds really, really, really cool to me is the character that Oscar Isaac is gonna play," Stan said when asked about the new characters being added to the MCU. According to ComicBook.com, Stan was "particularly excited by the story he heard about Moon Knight." Furthermore, author Brandon Davis -- who was in attendance -- noted on Twitter that after Stan acknowledged Isaac's role as Moon Knight, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige nodded his head in agreement.RELATED: Marvel's Moon Knight Casts Ethan Hawke as Its Villain

At the D23 Expo in 2019, it was announced that Marvel Comics' Marc Spector/Moon Knight would be getting his own series as part of Marvel Studios' lineup of original MCU programming for Disney+. In October 2020, Deadline reported that Isaac had been tapped to play Moon Knight's eponymous superhero.

While Marvel Studios itself has yet to officially announce Isaac for the Disney+ series, Moon Knight cinematographer Gregory Middleton confirmed the actor's involvement earlier this year. Not only that but after actor Ethan Hawke was cast as Moon Knight's villain, he cited Isaac's involvement as his reason for agreeing to join the Marvel show's cast. Stan's comments and Feige's apparent nod of approval appear to be the latest bits of confirmation that Isaac will suit up as Moon Knight. (Dracula had better have his money.)
