A new report suggests that Moon Knight's final installment will be the shortest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe series' six-episode run.Graphics designer, visual effects artist and reliable industry insider Amit Chaudhari recently tweeted that Moon Knight Episode 6 is only 42 minutes long. If this claim proves accurate, it means that the Disney+ show's sixth episode will bump Episode 1 as the shortest overall. Moon Knight Episode 1, "The Goldfish Problem," has a runtime of 47 minutes, whereas Episodes 2, 3, 4 and 5 all clock in over the 50-minute mark.Related: Moon Knight Doesn’t Shy Away from the Complexity of DID Romance

Short finale or not, executive producer Grant Curtis teased that Moon Knight will end on a high note. "Episodes 5 and 6 are going to blow your mind," he said. "There’s a whole world of Moon Knight's history that you have not been able to watch in those first four episodes that you will in the last two. Big fans of the comics who do know his history are going to be happy."

Although the Disney+ series still has one episode to go, many fans have already shifted their focus to Moon Knight's future in the wider MCU. One theory suggests that the show's last episode will set up the Fist of Khonshu's involvement in upcoming blockbuster Thor: Love and Thunder. Moon Knight writer Beau DeMayo addressed these rumors, saying "I don't know what they are doing in [Thor: Love and Thunder]. My honest answer is 'I don't know'… You do have to wonder. I'm really excited to see it."

Moon Knight star Oscar Isaac has also expressed interest in squaring off against the superhero's arch-nemesis Bushman in a future MCU outing. "Yeah, I mean, look, the Bushman saga, that whole thing was pretty amazing," he said. "You can't beat cutting off someone's face and then surviving. I mean, that's a pretty good villain's backstory. Yeah, that's amazing." Although Bushman has yet to appear in the MCU, the character was name-dropped in Moon Knight Episode 5, "Asylum."

Not all of Isaac's co-stars limit their enthusiasm solely to Moon Knight's next steps. Rey Lucas, who plays Marc Spector's father Elias, recently expressed considerable excitement at the prospect of the X-Men joining the MCU. "I grew up a huge fan of the comic books. Not as much Moon Knight, I was pretty [big on] X-Men, Uncanny X-Men, not to play favorites, but you know -- I'm glad they're bringing them over finally [to the MCU]."

Moon Knight is currently streaming on Disney+.
