A new rumor suggests that the Marvel Cinematic Universe series Moon Knight will feature an appearance by a big (and green) Avenger.

According to The DisInsider Show podcast, hosts Skyler Shuler and Derek Cornell claim to have an exclusive report which suggests that Mark Ruffalo's Hulk will appear in Moon Knight. While no further information is provided, both Shuler and Cornell joke about Dr. Bruce Banner acting as the MCU's new Nick Fury, referencing his brief cameo in the post-credits scene of Shang-Chi and the Legend of The Ten Rings.

While none of the trailers suggest that any of the core Avengers will show up in Moon Knight, fans of the character will seemingly be treated to several of Marc Spector's personas. Beyond Steven Grant, Marc Spector and the titular superhero, several posters confirm that the fan-favorite character Mr. Knight will also feature in the series.

If Bruce Banner does show up in Moon Knight, it could line up with showrunner Jeremy Slater's vision for the character in future MCU projects. "The honest answer is I don’t know [what's next for Moon Knight]," Slater said. "Because [Marvel Studios President and Chief Creative Officer] Kevin [Feige] is the guy who decides all that stuff. Look, if it was up to me, he would be part of the Avengers. It’s absolutely not up to me, but I think that is the goal!"

Oscar Isaac, who stars in Moon Knight as Marc Spector, recently confirmed that he'd love to continue playing the superhero once the credits roll on the Disney+ series. "It depends on whether people see the freakin’ show first. If they see it, then maybe we'll see more Moon Knight," said Isaac. "But I love playing him. Particularly Steven. I hope I get to visit him again. I love him so much. I feel he's someone real, who lives in the world. It's been a long time since I felt that kind of connection."

Following the adventures of mercenary-turned-hero Marc Spector, Moon Knight is expected to deliver a much grittier, more violent story than previous installments in the ever-growing MCU. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige said that the show features numerous scenes of brutal action despite its TV-14 rating.

Moon Knight lands on Disney+ on March 30.
