This article contains spoilers for Moon Knight, Season 1, Episode 2, "Summon the Suit," now available on Disney+.

The second episode of Moon Knight has been released, and fans are getting a more in-depth look at Ethan Hawke's villain, Arthur Harrow. The mysterious cult leader seems to be on a quest to resurrect his own Egyptian god, and he needs Moon Knight out of the way to do it. Harrow may be different from his comic counterpart, but the changes seem to be for the best. While Harrow seems to have a vast amount of followers, it's his mystical powers that really threaten the hero. Fans are eager to explore a new villain and learn more about him and how he plans to cause trouble for Moon Knight and his allies.

In the comics, Arthur Harrow was a talented doctor who conducted illegal human tests that were meant to make people not feel pain. These tests were cruel and brutal, and led to him working for the Germans in World War Two. The onscreen character is almost unrecognizable as the same character, but this is a good thing. Moon Knight's Arthur Harrow is far more interesting and powerful than his character in the comics, and it makes him a much greater threat to Steven Grant and Marc Spector.

In the episode, fans learn that Harrow was once the servant of Khonshu, before Marc Spector was. This comes as a shock to fans, who assumed that Khonshu was a benevolent deity and wouldn't use someone as twisted as Harrow. Harrow captures Steven and discloses to him that Khonshu ignores Harrow now and that the god isn't everything he portrays himself to be. Harrow now serves the Egyptian god Ammit, and is ready to use the powers that were given to him to punish the guilty in the name of his god.

Before he can do that though, he has to resurrect Ammit, which is why he needs the mysterious Scarab. The Scarab acts as a compass that can lead to the tomb of Ammit, so that Harrow can bring the god back to the world of the living. While Steven seems to agree with Harrow at first, he quickly changes his opinion when he learns more about Harrow and Ammit, who both believe the guilty should be punished -- before they commit a single crime. Even children and infants won't escape the cruel punishment of Harrow; no one is innocent once he judges them to be guilty.

Harrow plans to cleanse the world of all that he and Ammit deem to be evil. He has already started his work, going neighborhood by neighborhood. He is fully dedicated to his task, and he has the powers to carry out his work. He can summon Egyptian Jackals and kill people with a simple touch. With Steven and Marc fighting each other for control, Harrow has a perfect opportunity to carry out his plan without distractions. Harrow at first appears to be a simple cult leader; he is charismatic and influential. Now, the show has revealed him to be so much more, and Moon Knight may have a real challenge on his hands.

Moon Knight is starting to reveal more about its villain, Arthur Harrow, and his motivations in the show. He is looking to bring back his god, Ammit, and cleanse the world of "evil" people. He will execute anyone who is judged guilty, regardless if they have committed their fatal sin or not. He wields vast mystical powers and is more than enough competition for Moon Knight and Mr. Knight. Fans are looking forward to seeing if Harrow can complete his goals before Moon Knight stops him.
