The effects of Marvel's first event of 2017, "Monsters Unleashed," will be felt in even more titles when it kicks off in January. Marvel has announced that four more tie-in one-shots will be released, as "Monsters Unleashed" stomps through "Doctor Strange," "All-New X-Men," "Uncanny Inhumans" and "Champions." Like with the previously announced tie-in issues, these four titles will not interrupt the monthly stories unfolding in their corresponding series; instead each will be numbered with "#1.MU" to signify their place in the crossover.

These four oversized one-shots will all arrive in February, along with issues #2 and #3 of "Monsters Unleashed." "Doctor Strange" #1.MU will feature a story by Chip Zdarsky and art by Julian Lopez, in an issue that sees the underpowered Sorcerer Supreme fight monsters. Writer Jeremy Whitley and artists Ro Stein and Ted Brandt will handle a new adventure from the teen team the Champions in their tie-in. "Uncanny Inhumans'" tie-in comes from writer Paul Allor and artist Brian Level and sees Crystal's team take the fight to Italy. And "All-New X-Men," written by Jeremy Whitley with art by Carlo Barberi will transport the team to New Orleans as they hunt for anything to stop the monsters.
These four one-shots join "Spider-Man/Deadpool" and "Avengers," which are getting one-shots in January.
“Monsters Unleashed” will see a rampaging horde of Marvel’s classic beasts resurface in a colossal manner. The five-issue series will pair writer Cullen Bunn with a superstar roster of Marvel artists (Adam Kubert, Steve McNiven, Leinil Yu, Salvador Larroca and Greg Land) to chronicle the battle between superheroes and super monsters. The series will pit pretty much every monster ever seen in the Marvel Universe against the Avengers, Champions, Guardians of the Galaxy, X-Men and Inhumans.
“Monsters Unleashed” #1, written by Cullen Bunn with interior art by Steve McNiven, arrives in stores on January 18. Two issues will arrive each month in February and March. A number of tie-in one-shots will also arrive in early 2017.
