With the upcoming film adaptation of Monster Hunter set to open in theaters this Christmas, Capcom has announced a new DLC update to the latest game in the franchise, Monster Hunter: World, that features Milla Jovovich's Captain Natalie Artemis.

Capcom released a trailer that sees Artemis being transported into the game before she showcases her acrobatic fighting skills against a Black Diablos with her dual blades. The content will be released as a two-part quest, with the update due out on Dec. 4 to coincide with the European release of the film.

Jovovich will be reprising her role to voice Artemis in English for the game while the rest of the characters will continue to speak in the invented language for the fantasy world. The first quest has Artemis take on Black Diablos while the second has her hunt a Greater Rathalos, with unique rewards inspired by the film.

After numerous changes in its release date, Sony moved up Monster Hunter to open on Christmas after Warner Bros. change its release strategy for Wonder Woman 1984. The upcoming adaptation stars Jovovich as the captain of a squad mysteriously transported to a world filled with giant behemoths inspired directly by the popular video game series.

Developed and published by Capcom, the Artemis "Monster Hunter" Movie Quest comes to Monster Hunter: World on Dec. 4.

Written, directed and produced by Paul W.S. Anderson, Monster Hunter stars Milla Jovovich, Ron Perlman, TI, Tony Jaa, Meagan Good and Diego Boneta. The film arrives in theaters Dec. 25.
