Who Is M.O.D.O.K.?

George Tarleton, aka M.O.D.O.K., first fully appeared in the pages of 1967's Tales of Suspense #94 in the story "If This Be... MODOK!" by creators Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. As part of one of A.I.M.'s many maniacal experiments, Tarleton was transformed into the Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing, a super-genius villain with violent tendencies. Although M.O.D.O.K. has yet to make his debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the character was voiced by Patton Oswalt for their own titular animated series that premiered on Hulu in 2021. Oswalt also made his MCU debut alongside Harry Styles' Eros as Pip the Troll in 2021's Eternals.
