Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermaththe game's newest and biggest piece of DLC, was recently released. The expansion brings new story content to the game that follows up MK11's original story, as well as new character skins and three additional playable characters. Among these new characters is Robocop, the cyborg police officer, who steps straight out of the 1987 Paul Verhoeven film. Peter Weller, the actor who portrayed the character in the classic film, even returns to voice him in Aftermath.

Naturally, each new Mortal Kombat character also brings new Fatalities to the game. And while RoboCop's inclusion in the game may have been a surprise to some, Robocop's Fatalities are explosively violent, as it to be expected from both franchises. Given the character's long history of violence and his plethora of weaponry, RoboCop seems right at home among the rest of the game's cast. His fatalities are, unsurprisingly, incredibly gory and expertly choreographed to pay homage to various aspects of the film franchise. Let's explore each Fatality and how to perform them.

Dead or Alive

Robocop's first Fatality, "Dead or Alive," features an appearance by ED-209, a giant mech robot who showed up (and went berserk) in Robocop's first feature film. It also showcases some of Robocop's various iconic weapons, including his arm blade and explosive rifle, which were used throughout his films.

"Dead or Alive" must be performed in close range to the opponent. The button input is a bit long: "Back-Forward-Down-Down-2." "Back" means away from the opponent, and "Forward" means toward the opponent, while the "2" stands in for different buttons on each system. It's the Triangle button on the PlayStation 4, the Y button on Xbox One and the X button on Nintendo Switch.

Thank You For Your Cooperation

Robocop's second fatality, "Thank You For Your Cooperation," references an infamous scene from the first Robocop film in which the character confronts a couple of thugs who take a woman hostage. The Fatality, just like the scene, gives viewers a first-person look at Robocop's targeting system before he casually shoots the enemy in the groin. The Fatality brings this iconic shot to an explosive finish, courtesy of a launched grenade that completely obliterates the enemy.

"Thank You For Your Cooperation" is a bit more complex to perform than the other Fatality. The player must be standing a medium length, about one jump back, from their opponent. The input for this Fatality is "Forward-Down-Forward-1," with "1" representing the Square button on PS4, the X button on Xbox One and the Y button on Switch.

Developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, Mortal Kombat 11 is available now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Microsoft Windows and Google Stadia. Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath is now on sale digitally.
