'Mission: Impossible -- Rogue Nation' Trailer Pits Tom Cruise Against Syndicate

Following this weekend's teaser, Paramount Pictures has released the first full-length trailer for "Mission: Impossible -- Rogue Nation," the fifth film in the Tom Cruise action franchise.

Directed by Christopher McQuarrie ("Jack Reacher"), the film sees Cruise reprise his role as IMF Agent Ethan Hunt, who's tracked down by the Syndicate, a highly trained organization of rogue assassins that kill on order. With his IMF colleagues, he sets out to eradicate a rogue nation that's as highly skilled as they are.

Opening July 31, "Mission: Impossible -- Rogue Nation" also stars franchise veterans Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg and Ving Rhames, joined by newcomers Sean Harris, Rebecca Ferguson, Alec Baldwin, Simon McBurney, Zhang Jingchu.
