Perhaps the biggest thing the Mission: Impossible films are known for are their escalating, death-defying stunts. With Mission: Impossible -- Fallout, the team decided to not only up the ante but up the amount of harrowing situations for Tom Cruise's Ethan Hunt.

A new behind-the-scenes featurette showcases all the major stunts Cruise endured for the sixth Mission: Impossible film. These include dropping from a speeding helicopter on to a towed package, performing all the dangerous helicopter piloting himself, and becoming the first Hollywood star to execute a HALO jump all in the name of cinematic entertainment.

The latest Mission: Impossible film boasts more stunts than any of its predecessors but not without cost: While filming a chase across the rooftops of Paris, Cruise broke his foot trying to soften the impact of landing against a building. The accident is shown in the clip and made it into the final version of the film.

"We're genuinely risking our lives to entertain people which is incredibly valiant...and daft," admitted Simon Pegg.
