Mission Impossible 7 will once again see Tom Cruise fighting aboard a moving train, but this time its film director Christopher McQuarrie is shooting the scene while on the train.

McQuarrie recently posted a photo of this latest stunt to his Instagram, showing Cruise fighting someone on a Norwegian train while an orange helicopter passes overhead. "Norway's scale and beauty have left an indelible and defining imprint on our film and reminded us that anything is possible," the director wrote.

"On behalf of everyone working on Mission: Impossible, our sincerest thanks to The Norwegian Film Incentive, The Norwegian Railway Museum, the infinitely patient Stranda and Rauma Municipalities, our endlessly enduring Norwegian crew, along with everyone who supported our filming here. And, of course... The Mountain. Most of all, we give thanks to the warm and welcoming people of Norway. Your kindness and consideration are nothing less than an inspiration. We'll miss you dearly and look forward to seeing you again." McQuarrie continued, giving his thanks in Norweigian, "Tusen hjertelig takk."

Likewise, video footage of Cruise, McQuarrie, and the MI7 camera crew filming on the moving train was posted to Twitter. Cruise waved back humorously to the passing camera. Currently, McQuarrie and Cruise are shooting the seventh and eighth Mission Impossible films back to back, further establishing McQuarrie as the action franchise's most reoccurring director.

Production on the seventh and eighth films began in February but halted due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. This unexpected delay caused actor Nicolas Hoult to leave his initial role as the main villain, with Esai Morales recently being cast to take Hoult's place.

Mission: Impossible 7 stars Tom Cruise, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby, Henry Czerny, Esai Morales, Hayley Atwell, Pom Klementieff and Shea Whigham. The film arrives in theaters Nov. 19, 2021, while Mission: Impossible 8 releases on Nov. 4, 2022.
