Rebecca Ferguson is training for Mission: Impossible 7 with a massive sniper rifle.

Ferguson posted a photo to her Instagram page of herself holding the pretty sizable weapon. The caption beneath the photo reads, "... but before that, more training @barearmsfilm for MI7." Her post tagged Bare Arms, a UK-based company that provides military advisors and firearm training to movies and television shows.

Ferguson first appeared in 2015's Mission: Impossible: Rogue Nation as MI6 operative Ilsa Faust. Initially working undercover in the rogue criminal organization known as the Syndicate, Ilsa becomes an ally to Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his IMF team. She later returned in the sequel Mission: Impossible: Fallout, helping Hunt locate the seller of some stolen plutonium cores.

Mission: Impossible 7, which will be the first half of a two-part story, began production overseas in early 2020, but shooting was cut short due to the coronavirus outbreak. This production delay forced actor Nicolas Hoult, who was set to play the film's villain, to leave due to scheduling conflicts. Hoult has since been replaced with Esai Morales (Titans).

Mission: Impossible 7 stars Cruise, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby, Henry Czerny, Esai Morales, Hayley Atwell, Pom Klementieff and Shea Whigham. It will release on Nov. 19, 2021, while Mission: Impossible 8 releases on Nov. 4, 2022.
