Filming for the upcoming Mission: Impossible 7 in Venice has been put on hold as the coronavirus continues to afflict Italy.

According to Deadline, a reported 219 cases of the coronavirus in the European country have caused the Italian government to cease all public gatherings, including Paramount Pictures' planned shoot of Mission: Impossible 7. The studio was to move production to other countries after three weeks of shooting in Venice, though it's unclear if and when the crew will complete its Italian leg of the project.
