Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 star Pom Klementieff has officially joined the cast of Mission: Impossible 7 and 8.

"@PomKlementieff, How do you spell femme fatale? #MI78" director Christoper McQuarrie tweeted, to which Klementieff replied, "Mischief: Accepted."

Klementieff joins fellow Marvel Studios alumni Hayley Atwell in the franchise as it continues Ethan Hunt's (Tom Cruise) adventures in the wake of Mission: Impossible -- Fallout. While the newcomers' roles are still shrouded in secrecy, we do know Hunt will be accompanied by Ilsa Faust (Rebecca Ferguson), who became an official ally at the end of the last movie when they defeated their Rogue Nation counterparts at long last.

Fans are also likely eager to see if any villains added would be from new terrorist cells or actually tied to Solomon Lane's army, which wouldn't be surprising as he was taken into custody once more at the end of Hunt's last mission.

Fallout went on to earn an impressive $791 million at the worldwide box office against a budget of $178 million. The immensely popular franchise has now amassed over $3.5 billion worldwide, which secured McQuarrie's return for two more movies.
