If Kermit can move on so soon after their highly publicized breakup, then why can't Miss Piggy?

Entertainment Tonight reports that singer Josh Groban will guest star as himself on an early episode of ABC's "The Muppets," playing a new love interest for Piggy.

Fair warning to Groban: Nathan Fillion seems awfully interested in Piggy's relationship status (below), and she's certainly noticed the "Castle" star's (ahem) assets.

According to "The Muppets" Executive Producer Bill Prady, Kermit seeks to put an end to his ex's foul mood by booking one her celebrity crushes on "Up Late With Miss Piggy." But when sparks begin to fly between Groban and Piggy, Kermit quickly realizes he made a big mistake.

The singer is certainly no stranger to the Muppets, having made a cameo in 2014's "Muppets Most Wanted." Kermit & Co. then returned the favor for the video to Groban and Lindsey Stirling's "Pure Imagination."

"The Muppets" premieres Sept. 22 on ABC.
