Loki's Miss Minutes teased Marvel Cinematic Universe fans by interacting with Deadpool on social media.

The official Twitter for Loki character Miss Minutes tapped Deadpool's own account in a social media shoutout, writing "Hey there @Deadpool Love, Miss Minutes." This post, which received over ten thousand likes, raised speculation about Wade Wilson crossing over with Loki Season 2 and vice versa in Deadpool 3, which Miss Minutes dismissed. "Nah, just saying hi to the neighborhood merc with a mouth," she tweeted. However, Ryan Reynolds eventually responded to her, commenting "Hello, Miss Minutes."

Voiced by voice actor Tara Strong, Miss Minutes is the sentient Time Variance Authority (TVA) clock mascot who converses with both incarcerated Variants and agents in the field. Despite appearing sporadically in Loki, the season finale revealed that Miss Minutes is aware of the TVA's true purpose. She is also aware that the TVA was created by He Who Remains (Jonathan Majors) after the Multiversal War, rather than the fictional "Time Keepers." Her exact relationship with He Who Remains -- a Kang the Conqueror variant who sought to prevent his other selves from leaving their timelines -- is unknown, though Strong confirmed that Miss Minutes will return for Loki Season 2.

Deadpool 3, meanwhile, will drop in theaters on Sept. 6, 2024. In the teaser confirming this release date, Reynolds revealed that fellow X-Men actor Hugh Jackman will star opposite him as Wolverine for the first time since 2017's Logan. The film will mark Deadpool's first movie under Disney's ownership, as well as the first MCU film with a Mutant lead. This is despite the confirmation of Kamala Khan and Namor's own Mutant statuses in Ms. Marvel and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, respectively. One report also suggested that Owen Wilson will cameo in Deadpool 3 as Loki TVA Agent Mobius, implying a multiversal explanation for the Merc with a Mouth's MCU debut.

Loki Season 2 Updates

Filming on Loki Season 2 began in June, with leaked photos offering the first glimpses of Loki (Tom Hiddleston), Mobius, and the Asgardian's genderbent love interest, Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino). On top of its main cast returning, supporting actor Eugene Cordero -- who played TVA worker Casey -- was bumped to series regular for Season 2. Joining the show is Everything Everywhere All At Once's Ke Huy Quan, whose casting was announced at 2022's D23 Expo.

Majors, meanwhile, will play a more comic-accurate Kang in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, the first entry in Marvel Studios' Phase 5 lineup. According to Majors, he agreed to play Kang after completing his Loki episode, saying "It was the character and dimensions of Kang [that drew me to the role]. And the potential that it had. I thought, I'll take a chance on that."

Loki Season 2 will premiere on Disney+ sometime in the summer of 2023.
