Power comes in a lot of forms. Social power sees characters hold sway over others. Financial power means a character likely has the means to buy anything they need. Physical power, especially in shows with superheroes, can mean being able to time travel or create new objects. All of these types of power exist in Miraculous: Tales Of Ladybug And Cat Noir, which makes for an interesting lineup of powerful characters.

Because of the abilities of the main characters, a lot of the power is rooted in actual superheroes. Ladybug and Cat Noir have the power of creation and destruction, respectively. Other Miraculous holders have a diverse combination of powers that Cat Noir and Ladybug don't have.

10 Nino's Power Is Rooted In How Much He Cares About Others

A split image depicts Nino and Carapace in Miraculous Ladybug

Nino isn't necessarily the most influential of characters. He's not the one persuading others to break the rules, and he's not one of the allies most called upon to help the other superheroes. Nino is, however, incredibly protective of his friends, so the Turtle Miraculous (which allows him to form a protective shield) is perfect for him.

Nino is always ready to help and is can direct others to safety even when he's not in his superhero gear. His power when holding his Miraculous is a shield, which is useful but not particularly powerful.

9 Kagami Inspires Others To Do Better

A split image features Kagami in her school uniform and in her superhero costume in Miraculous Ladybug

Kagami doesn't have a ton of power in her everyday life. Her mother makes a lot of her decisions for her, right down to which extracurricular activities she's involved in. The power Kagami does hold in her civilian form, however, is to inspire others to do better. Both Marinette and Adrien are inspired by Kagami's sense of responsibility and her commitment to fencing.

When Kagami holds the Dragon Miraculous, all of her natural athletic abilities are enhanced. She's faster, stronger, and more agile. She can also transform herself into wind, lightning, and water as a result of the dragon's elemental abilities.

8 Chloe Influences The Decisions Of Others

A split image depicts Chloe in her civilian clothing and in her superhero costume in Miraculous Ladybug

Chloe might not be the best role model for the audience, but she has quite a bit of social influence, although most of her peers don't like her. She is used to getting what she wants. With her father being the mayor, she tends to continue getting what she wants, using his power to her advantage.

During her time as a Miraculous holder, Chloe was Queen Bee. Her hand-to-hand combat skills were sharper than most of the other Miraculous holders, she was faster than them, and she had the stinging spinning top to use that could paralyze enemies briefly.

7 Nathalie Can Increase The Power Of Others

A split image features Nathalie in her civilian wear and her villain costume in Miraculous Ladybug

As an assistant to Gabriel Agreste, it might not seem like Nathalie has much power. However, because of who she works for, it's rare for anyone in Paris to tell her no. Most of Adrien's classmates are a little bit afraid of her, just like they are of his father.

Nathalie has also been a Miraculous holder in the past. She used the Peacock Miraculous for Gabriel to help enhance his plans as Hawkmoth. Even though the Miraculous was damaged and made Nathalie physically ill, it still helped her become incredibly powerful.

6 Luka Is A Calming Presence

A split image depicts Luka and Viperion in Miraculous Ladybug

Luka doesn't get a ton of screen time in Miraculous Ladybug, but what he does get is never wasted. He's there to calm people down in anxiety-inducing situations. Luka's calm and honest demeanor means that no matter how nervous his friends (or his sister) get, he can say a few words to put things in perspective for them. He always seems to be a calming force in his friend group.

Luka's power as a Miraculous holder is one of the strongest in Miraculous Ladybug. He's able to turn back time, but he can only go back so far to fix things.

5 The Kwamis' Powers Have Their Limits

The Kwamis gather in a group in Miraculous Ladybug

The Kwami provide all of the magical power in Miraculous Ladybug. It's their magic that fuels what the heroes can do, so their abilities are immense. Unfortunately, their power comes with limitations, which means the Kwami aren't the most powerful beings in Miraculous Ladybug.

They cannot use their powers on their own. Instead, the Guardian and the Miraculous holders channel the power of the Kwamis through their Miraculouses, controlling every aspect of how the power is used. Without this limitation, the Kwamis would undoubtedly be the most powerful beings in Miraculous Ladybug.

4 Alya's Power Stems From Her Loyalty

Her father might not be the mayor of Paris, but Alya has even more social power than Chloe. She's often the person convincing her friends to try new things, take on another project, or try a new relationship. Alya runs a Ladybug blog that is read and viewed by people all over Paris.

She is also a Miraculous holder, and her physical power involves casting illusions. Alya isn't just any Miraculous holder, she's also trusted to look after all the Kwami when Marinette can't, giving her access to other powers besides her own. In both cases, Alya's power comes from her loyalty and friendship.

3 Gabriel Can Make Others Powerful

Gabriel has French society wrapped around his finger. He's a wealthy man with a successful business, so he already has a commanding presence in his everyday life. His son and his assistant (and anyone else who crosses his path) wouldn't defy him.

Gabriel's real power lies in holding the Butterfly Miraculous. With this particular Miraculous, he has vast magical power. Gabriel is able to use anyone's emotional state to turn them into a Miraculous Ladybug villain. Most of Ladybug's allies have been turned into villains by him at some point.

2 Everyone Loves Adrien

A split image of Adrien and Cat Noir in Miraculous Ladybug

Adrien's power in social situations comes from his likability. He's charming, always wants to do the right thing, and tries to be nice to everyone. As a result, everyone likes him and wants to be his friend. His peers help him with his problems and follow his lead.

Making Adrien even more powerful, however, is his secret identity as Cat Noir. Cat Noir is very charming and everyone in Paris appreciates him saving the day. With his Miraculous, Adrien becomes faster, more agile, stronger, and nearly indestructible. He also has the power of destruction, able to make things disintegrate with one swipe of his "paw."

1 Marinette Is Powerful Enough To Juggle Everything

A split image depicts Marinette and Ladybug in Miraculous Ladybug

Marinette is shy and clumsy in her everyday life, but she is well-liked. She wants to do the right thing and encourages her friends to rise to whatever challenge they're facing. She also has the strongest Miraculous power - the Ladybug Miraculous power.

She has the power of creation, allowing her to create tools (to help her defeat villains) and charms (which stop people getting turned into villains). Marinette has increased speed, agility, and stamina in her superhero form. She becomes the Guardian of the Miraculouses, which means she has the power to choose who becomes a Miraculous holder. As she's in charge of the Kwami magic, she's the most powerful character of Miraculous Ladybug.
