Steve Buscemi Is God, Daniel Radcliffe Is An Angel in Miracle Workers Promo

Miracle Workers

Daniel Radcliffe and Steve Buscemi make for a heavenly comedy team in the upcoming TBS comedy  Miracle Workers.

The new television series has Buscemi portraying God while Radcliffe plays a low-level angel named Craig, who is tasked with overseeing humanity's prayers. A new promo for the series shows Craig approach his boss with an urgent prayer regarding an impending typhoon only to find Buscemi's deity especially absent-minded. As God's interest in the job wanes, Craig finds he must intervene directly to prevent the destruction of Earth.

Created and executive produced by Simon Rich (Man Seeking Woman), Radcliffe and Buscemi also serve as executive producers along with Saturday Night Live creator Lorne Michaels. Buscemi replaces Owen Wilson who was originally attached to portray God on the series and executive produce.

TBS had ordered Miracle Workers straight to series in May 2017 for a seven-episode first season with principal photography lasting taking place from December 2017 to January 2018 in Atlanta.
