'Minority Report' Peers Into the Future in New Featurette

Fox goes behind the scenes of "Minority Reporter" in a new video featuring the cast and creators of the television sequel to Steven Spielberg's 2002 sci-fi thriller.

Set in Washington, D.C., a decade after the dismantling of Precrime — the law-enforcement agency tasked with identifying and eliminating criminals, before their crimes were committed — the series follows precog Dash (Stark Sands), who’s returned in secret to help police detective Lara Vega (Meagan Good) attempt to stop the murders from his terrifying visions.

The video addresses the shift in perspective, with the television series focusing on one of the precogs rather than a detective, and how "Minority Report" aims to depict a brighter, more optimistic future than that of the film.

Also starring Wilmer Valderrama, Laura Regan and Nick Zano, "Minority Report" premieres Monday, Sept. 21, on Fox.
