Minions Go Wild in Super Bowl Spot

Illumination Entertainment has debuted the Super Bowl spot for Minions, the 3D-animated prequel to Despicable Me.

The ad is tailor-made for the Big Game, with the little yellow creatures cheering in slow motion in the stands and a booming voice narrates their actions -- that is, until the cute little blue denim overalls come off.

Debuting July 10 in the United States, the film follows the evolution of the Minions from their very beginning at the dawn of time, working for one despicable master after another until they suddenly find themselves without someone to serve and fall into a deep depression. That's when Kevin, Stuart and Bob set in search of a new evil boss and discover Scarlett Overkill (Sandra Bullock).
