Not only that, but there are also birds built into the sky and such clever usage of blocks and colors to really trick the eye. Every hall, room, and arch is absolutely masterful and worth every second of wandering around.

Fishyyy made some serious waves when they released a video of their build of Minas Tirith from Lord of the Rings done entirely alone. There was no team involved in its construction.
It's a perfect rendition of the city and full of minute details that can easily be missed in some of the glamour shots. This level of dedication is really something to be admired and shows just what sort of scale Minecraft is really capable of.

The teams behind the library really found a way to do something wonderful all in a game and made sure to share it with the world.

For a world made entirely of cubes, Aman, the Immortal Lands by Iskillia does wonders making things look rounded and fluid. Iskillia's map is a beautiful, fantasy-inspired one full of bright colors and flowing shapes. It really feels like the setting for another game entirely.
It takes a lot of skill to learn how to make cubes look rounded, and they do wonders with it time and time again in this gorgeous map. Details are everywhere to leave onlookers totally breathless.

Meiva - Dance of the Elements by Darastlix is a massive terraformed map complete with lore. With expert use of the availible tools out there, this map is a massive one with tons of photo-realistic-looking shots, even just using the default textures.
It's an entire archipelago with two massive volcanoes, big environments, and all sorts of areas to explore. The best part about it is that it also works really well in survival mode, giving it a layer of experience that many other builds simply don't have.

Legomasta99 didn't just master the art of redstone; they perfected it. They have gone out of their way to build fully functional computers within the scope of Minecraft's capabilities. It can do so much with so many different programs that it really is mind-boggling.
