WARNING: The following article contains spoilers for Avengers: Infinity War, in theaters now.

After the cataclysmic events of Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War, one artist imagines how Avengers 4 could perfectly introduce Miles Morales into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Miles was introduced inn 2011 as the Spider-Man of Marvel Comics' Ultimate Universe, following the death of that reality's Peter Parker. With the loss of Tom Holland's wall-crawler, if only temporarily, at the hands of Thanos in Infinity War, some fans have seen the perfect opportunity for Miles to make his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut.

Drawing another aftermath of Thanos' finger-snap moment, artist Stephen Byrne has imagined Miles suiting up for Avengers 4. Directors Joe and Anthony Russo have already confirmed that Aunt May is still alive, and the panel picks up with both her and Ned mourning the loss of Peter. Byrne then draws Mile's uncle Aaron, again played by Donald Glover, turning to dust before his eyes. It's that moment that prompts Morales to spring into action, donning his Spider-Man costume and leaping out the window.

The scene is particularly cinematic, and it isn't difficult to imagine such a scene playing out in Avengers 4. However, with the animated Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse focusing on Miles, it's unknown if the character is part of the MCU's plans.

Director Jon Watts' Spider-Man: Homecoming alluded to Miles' existence with an Easter egg hidden in the credits, and Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige himself has promised the fan-favorite character is out there somewhere. Whether Miles comes to the rescue in Avengers 4, pops up in the Homecoming sequel or stays in the background for a little longer, Byrne's artwork is an imaginative way of bringing him to life.
