Miles Morales and Peter Parker both have relatively different experiences as Spider-Man. However, Miles is about to undergo his own version of one of Parker's most controversial storylines.

Miles Morales: Spider-Man #25 is slated to debut a new version of the controversial Clone Saga. Marvel revealed the new logo as well as a debut date of April 2021. "In April 2021, things get wild for Miles," the publisher said in a statement, promising more information tomorrow. "LET'S GOOOO," series writer Saladin Ahmed wrote on Twitter.

The original Clone Saga focused on the revelation that one of Spider-Man's enemies, the Jackal, had made a clone of him. The clone, who would change his name to Ben Reilly, briefly took over from Peter as the Scarlet Spider and even gained an archnemesis in the form of the corrupted clone Kaine. The concepts of the series were later revisited during The Clone Conspiracy storyline by Dan Slott and Jim Cheung, and Kaine eventually took up the mantle of Scarlet Spider.

The Clone Saga has been teased in the pages of Miles Morales: Spider-Man. Miles briefly encountered a clone of himself in Miles Morales: Spider-Man #18, who was seemingly killed when the two Spider-Men used their bioelectric "venom blast" against each other.

Miles Morales: Spider-Man #25 goes on sale in April 2021.
