World famous boxer Mike Tyson has officially joined the cast of "Kickboxer: Retaliation" and will co-star alongside original "Kickboxer" star Jean-Claude Van Damme.

While the original "Kickboxer" debuted in the 1989, the reboot "Kickboxer: Vengeance" is set to hit theaters and video on demand later this year. The director of "Kickboxer: Vengeance" Dimitri Logothetis is already working a sequel, which is titled "Kickboxer: Retaliation."

Alain Moussi is set to reprise his role as the lead of the film and "Game of Thrones" actor Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson (who played The Mountain) will star as Moussi's adversary. According to Variety, Van Damme will be returning to play Moussi's trainer, and Tyson will play a man who learns to fight behind bars.

According to Logothetis over 14 fighters have already been cast in the film. "The passion I have for this genre just keeps getting bigger and the cast we have assembled is phenomenal. Expect to see spectacular, non-stop, action-packed martial arts from real fighters."
