This past weekend at Baltimore Comic Con, Mike Colter offered some details about the third season of Netflix's Luke Cage.

The MCU television star provided hints about the themes and new direction for the series' potential third season while embracing the character's much-needed wardrobe change.

"We're trying new things, and I think I got frustrated being the Boy Scout," Colter explained during a spotlight panel at the event. "You can't get anywhere with that kind of approach dealing with bad guys, so I think we're going to try something else, but I'm interested to see where it goes."

At the end of this year's second season, Cage defeated Bushmaster while former crime lord Mariah Dillard was killed in prison by her daughter Tilda. Now overseeing the nightclub Harlem's Paradise, Cage is effectively the most powerful man in Harlem worrying NYPD detective Misty Knight about the possibility of the newfound influence and affluence corrupting him.

"I'm very excited about the type of clothing he gets to wear, because I'm tired of wearing hoodies and jeans," admitted Colter. "I'm ready to move on to suits again."

Streaming now on Netflix, Marvel’s Luke Cage Season 2 stars Mike Colter, Simone Missick, Alfre Woodard, Theo Rossi, Mustafa Shakir, Gabrielle Dennis, Rosario Dawson, and Reg E. Cathey.
