Netflix has released an official trailer for The Midnight Club, an upcoming horror series from Mike Flanagan (The Haunting of Hill House, Midnight Mass).

The new The Midnight Club trailer offers audiences their first real look at the upcoming Netflix series, which is set at a hospice for terminally ill young adults. The bulk of the trailer focuses on Iman Benson's character, who is the latest patient to be admitted to Rotterdam Home. She is soon welcomed into the Midnight Club by seven other patients, learning that the group comes together every night at midnight to tell each other stories. However, they also have a pact that states that the next of them to die will give the group a sign from the beyond, which looks to have happened as the trailer shows unimaginable horrors haunting the patients.

Flanagan's adaptation of The Midnight Club was announced in May 2020. At the time, the acclaimed horror visionary stated that it was a "dream come true" and an "honor to introduce a new generation of young horror fans to the world of Christopher Pike." Netflix has confirmed that The Midnight Club will be based not only on the 1994 novel of the same name but on other undisclosed works by Pike. The series also marks the second time Pike's works have been adapted after his book Fall into Darkness was adapted into a television movie of the same name in 1996. Netflix debuted the first teaser for The Midnight Club in June 2022.
