On November 26 & 27, Mid-Ohio-Con will celebrate 25 year’s as one of America’s longest running and most popular comic book and pop culture shows.

Mid-Ohio-Con offers fans and collectors a wide variety of special guests, programs, activities and an off the chart amount of collectible merchandise. A great way to kick off the holiday shopping season for comic book collectors and lovers of pop culture “goodies”, Mid-Ohio-Con’s vendor list is a veritable “who’s who” of the industry’s best. Collectors will find an exciting assortment of golden, silver and current age comics, plus anime merchandise, toys, clothing, videos, DVDs, movie & TV memorabilia and much more.

The list of celebrity guests scheduled to appear includes over 100 of the best talents in comic books and pop culture media. On the media side, look for rare personal appearances by Margot Kidder & Marc McClure, “Lois Lane & Jimmy Olsen” in the Christopher Reeve Superman films. Best selling novelist, Nancy Holder, who has penned genre hits based on Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Angel & Smallville, along internationally popular comic book writer and novelist, Peter David. Animation fans will have the treat of seeing Bob Bergen, the voice of Porky Pig and other popular characters. “WWE Superstar” Mick Foley will greet his fans on Saturday only. Comic book talents slated to appear include “The Simpsons'” artist Bill Morrison, DC cover artist, Adam Hughes, legendary Batman creative team, Steve Englehart, Marshall Rogers and Terry Austin and more, including syndicated cartoonist Tom Batiuk (Funky Winkerbean) and pin-up artist, Dave Nestler! Mid-Ohio-Con will be Saturday and Sunday, November 26 & 27 at the Hilton Columbus-Easton Town Center in Columbus, Ohio. Mid-Ohio-Con draws thousands of attendees from all across the US, Canada and Europe. Visitors to the show get the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful Hilton Columbus Hotel and great entertainment, dining and shopping at the fabulous Easton Town Center. Free self-parking is available throughout Easton Town Center or attendees can take advantage of valet parking for a nominal fee at the Hilton.

Show hours are Saturday from 10am to 6pm and Sunday from 10am to 5pm. Tickets are $20 per day with children age 8 and under admitted free when accompanied by a paid adult. Advance tickets, including an exclusive 2 day discount pass, are available, until Tuesday November 22, at www.ticketweb.com or toll free at; 866-468-3401. All advance ticket holders will be admitted 30 minutes prior to the general public, at 9:30am each day. Single day tickets will be on sale at the door during the event starting at 10am each day.
