Mid-Ohio-Con Announces the First Wave of Attending Stars

The excitement continues to build as Mid-Ohio-Con draws nearer. On November 25 & 26, Mid-Ohio-Con will debut in it's brand new venue, Battelle Hall in the Greater Columbus Convention Center, located in downtown Columbus' popular Arena District.

With the show still months away, event producer Roger Price is officially announcing the start of what promises to be one of Mid-Ohio-Con's most impressive guest rosters. Headlining the list of media and comic book stars will be actress Mira Furlan, "Rousseau", from the hit ABC TV series "Lost", Ms. Furlan is also well known to fans from her portrayal of "Delenn" on "Babylon 5". A special "Three's Company" reunion will take place as series stars Joyce DeWitt, Priscilla Barnes and Richard Kline make their first ever joint autograph appearance at Mid-Ohio-Con. The "Silver Age" of Marvel Comics will be well represented with rare convention appearances by artists Herb Trimpe and Dick Ayers and writer Gary Friedrich. "Golden Age" EC Comics and MAD legend, Al Feldstein will be on hand along with red-hot "Marvel Zombies" cover artist, Arthur Suydam and internationally popular pin up artist, Dave Nestler. Mid-Ohio-Con's guest roster doesn't end there. The list of comic book stars scheduled to appear also includes: Ron Garney (Amazing Spider-Man), Angel Medina (Sensational Spider-Man), Bob Schreck (DC Comics' editor), Brian Pulido (Lady Death), Adam Hughes (DC cover artist), Don Rosa (Uncle Scrooge), Mike Avon Oeming (Powers, Red Sonya & more) Chris Yambar (Bart Simpson Comics), Leonard Kirk (Agents of Atlas), Chris Sprouse (Tom Strong), Beau Smith (Cobb: Off the Leash) and many more fan favorites.

Mid-Ohio-Con's website is sporting a new look and offers fans constantly updated show information and a direct link to special discount hotel rates from the event's new "host" hotel, the Hyatt Regency Columbus. Mid-Ohio-Con will be November 25 & 26 at Battelle Hall in the Greater Columbus Convention Center. Advance tickets are tentatively scheduled to go on sale Friday September 1st.
