A new variant cover for the upcoming first issue of Batman '89, illustrated by Mico Suayan, homages Jim Lee's classic cover for Batman #608.Suayan's artwork shows Michael Keaton's cinematic version of Batman standing with one leg atop a gargoyle, cape swirling around him in the Gotham evening breeze. Lee's art for 2002's Batman #608 features the exact same pose, and was one of several covers illustrated by the artist -- now Publisher and Chief Creative Office of DC -- to kick-off the fan-favorite "Hush" storyline.RELATED: Batman '89 Art Officially Welcomes Robin to the BurtonVerseSuayan's variant cover is exclusive to Big Time Collectibles, which posted a comparison of both images on Instagram.
