Michel Fiffe's critically acclaimed superhero revenge comic book Copra will be returning this October, courtesy of Image Comics.

"I'm beyond excited to be returning to my own characters with all-new stories," Fiffe said in a statement. "It's been a minute since I last worked on Copra, but I'm back with laser focus and all is right in the universe. This first issue picks up right where the previous volume left off, so it's an accessible continuation of the original arc. The hardcore fans and the new readers will both love it."

Fiffe has previously worked on Zegas, GI Joe: Sierra Muerte, Bloodstrike Brutalists and All-New Ultimates. Creator-owned Copra, however, is considered by many to be his most distinguished work.

The original 31-issue run of Copra sold out entirely and ended on a cliffhanger that left fans eagerly anticipating the series' continuation. Now, come October, they will once again be able to dive into the world Fiffe has created.

For those unfamiliar with Copra, Fiffe added that Image has released five trade paperback collections of the series, making it "the perfect time to start telling new stories again."

Written, drawn, colored and lettered by Fiffe, Copra #1 goes on sale October 2.
