Smallville alum Michael Rosenbaum -- who played Lex Luthor on the Superman prequel series -- took to social media to offer his take on the elusive Snyder Cut of the 2017 DC Extended Universe film Justice League.

From petitions to hashtags to billboards, the release of the Snyder Cut is something certain fans have campaigned hard for since 2017, with even DCEU actors chiming in on the matter. This version of Justice League -- which was met with mixed critical reception upon its release -- is supposedly more in line with director Zack Snyder's original vision, prior to Joss Whedon taking over after Snyder had to leave the project. As far as his thoughts on the Snyder Cut, Rosenbaum said on Twitter, "Well with all this freaking hype it better be night-and-day better. Period."

Rosenbaum goes on to confess that he has not seen the theatrical cut of Justice League, nor any film with Batman in since at least 2012, which also disqualifies Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (though Rosenbaum says he has historically enjoyed Snyder's work). "I didn't see the first one," he wrote. "I'm just saying. In fact I haven't seen a movie with Batman since [Christian] Bale. I did like Dawn of the Dead and 300 so..."

Rosenbaum is certainly no stranger to DC, having starred as Superman's arch-enemy on Smallville for several years. He also played the role of Wally West/Flash in the animated series Justice League and Justice League Unlimited and has continued to do voice over work on various other animated DC projects over the years.
