Michael Oeming & Taki Soma Sign at TFAW to Support the Hero Initiative

Things From Another World (TFAW) is excited to announce a joint signing by comic book creators Taki Soma and Michael AvonOeming at their Hollywood store at 4133 NE Sandy Blvd Portland, OR 97214 Saturday, June 26 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. In addition to signing their works, Oeming will be offering sketches for sale, with all proceeds benefiting the Hero Initiative, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping comic book creators, writers and artists in need.

Soma and Oeming recently collaborated on Rapture, a limited series from Dark Horse Comics, called "A stylistic delight" by Broken Frontier and ". . . a compelling tale about the boundaries of humanity"by MTV. Eisner Award-winning artist Oeming is also the co-creator of Powers, with Brian Michael Bendis, and The Mice Templar, with Bryan J. L. Glass.

Oeming and Soma are longtime supporters of the Hero Initiative. With this is mind, Oeming will draw black-and-white, single-figure sketches during the signing for $40, with 100% of the proceeds going to the charity.
