Fresh off a red-hot awards season, which unfortunately ended without a Best Actor Oscar, "Birdman" star Michael Keaton will host the April 4 episode of "Saturday Night Live," featuring musical guest Carly Rae Jepsen.

It's Keaton's third time as host, following appearances in 1982 and 1992, the latter of which came on the heels of "Batman Returns." It will be Jepsen's first time as musical guest.

A surreal comedy-drama about a washed-up actor, best known for a superhero role, who's trying to stage a comeback, "Birdman" won Academy Awards for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay and Best Cinematography. However, Keaton was denied a Best Actor trophy, which went to Eddie Redmayne for "The Theory of Everything."

NBC also announced that "Empire" star Taraji P. Henson will make her "SNL" hosting debut April 11, joined by returning musical guest Mumford & Sons.
