Earlier today, Spinoff reported on Michael K. Williams' casting in the upcoming Paul Feig-directed "Ghostbusters." However, according to Variety, it seems like Williams will be involved in more than just busting ghosts. He'll also be involved with the "Assassin's Creed."

Williams joins Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard in the upcoming video game live-action adaptation, which begins filming this fall. The video game franchise follows a bloodline of assassins from throughout history -- from the time of the crusades and the renaissance all the way to colonial era. How closely the film follows the game is currently unknown.

As to Willaims' role, that is also being kept under wraps. However, if he's one of the assassin's targets in the film, we only have one line of advice if you're going after "The Wire" star: you best not miss.
