Michael J. Fox and Coldplay teamed up for the ultimate "Back to the Future" throwback, with the actor joining the band to perform songs from the famous trilogy on Saturday at a stop on their "Head Full of Dreams" tour.

Fox joined Coldplay on stage during their second night at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ. During the show's finale, Coldplay singer Chris Martin played a video from his son Moses requesting that the band play a song from "both of our favorite movie: 'Back to the Future.'" Fox then joined the band on stage with a Gibson Les Paul and played guitar during the band's covers of Penguins' "Earth Angel" and Chuck Berry's "Johnny B. Goode," both featured during the Enchantment Under the Sea dance that Fox's Marty McFly attends in "Back to the Future."

This isn't the first time that Fox has reprised the scene from the classic movie. Fox has played the song at numerous benefits to raise money for Parkinson's disease, which he was diagnosed with in 1991, even performing with Coldplay in 2013. You can check out video of the band performing with Fox below; Fox enters around the 2:40 mark.
