New York, NY, MAY 15 – Michael Gaydos (Alias, The Pulse) will illustrate Snakewoman, a new series, created exclusively for Virgin Comics by Hollywood director Shekhar Kapur (Oscar-nominated Elizabeth, The Four Feathers). It is the inaugural issue of Virgin's "Director's Cut" line of comics.

Gaydos has teamed with writer Zeb Wells (Civil War: Young Avengers/Runaways) to divulge this sexy and mysterious story of Jessica Peterson, a woman who will eventually kill 68 men. Snakewoman will be in stores on July 19.

Michael Gaydos is an illustrator, painter, and printmaker. He grew up in Ohio and studied at the Cleveland Institute of Art. His list of credits includes illustrations and sequential artwork for DC, Image, Tundra, NBM, Caliber and White Wolf among others. His work on Alias led to multiple Eisner Award nominations.
