Michael Douglas has teased an update on Ant-Man 3 and asked fans to "hold tight" because an announcement is coming "pretty soon."When Douglas was asked what's going on with Ant-Man 3 during a quarantine Q&A, the 75-year-old said (via the Ant-Man News Twitter account), "I can't talk about it. Because the Marvel guys, they'll shoot me with a blowgun. But I think you got to hang tight because there might be some information coming out pretty soon." While Douglas wouldn't give any more details on what's to come, his comments suggest something big is just around the corner.RELATED: Of Course MODOK Would Be the Villain of an Ant-Man Movie

Douglas joined the MCU for Peyton Reed's Ant-Man in 2015 and has since gone on to appear in Ant-Man and the Wasp and last year's Avengers: Endgame. Ant-Man and the Wasp fleshed out Pym's story and added Michelle Pfeiffer to the ensemble as Janet Van Dyne, aka the original Wasp. A de-aged version of Douglas appeared in the Endgame's trip to 1970, while Pym was last seen in the modern-day at Tony Stark's funeral.

No official plot details have been released for the third Ant-Man film, but much of the main cast is expected to return, including Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly and Michael Douglas. Peyton Reed, who directed the first two Ant-Man films, will return to direct the third. There is no official release date as of yet.
