Ant-Man star Michael Douglas found out about his part in the upcoming Disney+ series What If...? during a recent interview.

While sitting down with Collider, Douglas was asked about his upcoming projects, namely, The Kominsky Method. Towards the end of their conversation, the interviewer asked Douglas, "What does it mean to be part of the biggest box office movie all time? and my other thing is, I'm so excited you're doing this thing, What If...? Where you're voicing Hank Pym in an animated thing."

Douglas responded with wide eyed surprise, asking, "Am I?" The two shared a laugh before Douglas clarified, saying, "They haven't told me yet... I'm gonna find out after this. I have no idea."

The two went on to briefly discuss Douglas' role in Avengers: EndgameDuring the sequence where Steve Rogers and Tony Stark return to the past, Douglas has a brief cameo as young Hank Pym.

According to Douglas, Ant-Man 3 will begin production in January 2021What If...? on the other hand, does not currently have a release date. The animated series slated to arrive on Disney+ sometime during Summer 2021.
