My Hero Academia features a dazzling cast of characters who have all kinds of colorful hero costumes, an astounding variety of Quirks, and variances in their appearance and physical prowess. Some characters rely heavily on their Quirks to operate, while others are big, tall people with immense physical strength, Quirks aside.

That includes the pro heroes, of average height such as Ms. Joke and the ninja hero Edgeshot, as well as some impressively tall heroes who tower over the rest. Being big and tall isn't everything, but even so, it's fun to see which pro heroes are the tallest of them all. Some of them are truly giants who are easy to spot from a mile away.

10 Vlad King - 194 Centimeters, Or 6 Feet 4.5 Inches

Vlad King Meeting With Eraserhead MHA

Vlad King is the enthusiastic homeroom teacher of UA's class 1-B, who towers over his class 1-A counterpart, Shota Aizawa. Vlad is a naturally big, strong fellow who could intimidate more than a few villains during interrogation, though he is rarely seen doing such a thing.

As for his Quirk, the tall Vlad King can control his blood and even manipulate it outside his body, all without suffering the ill effects of serious blood loss. He once used that Quirk to restrain one of Dabi's clones.

9 Selkie - 195 Centimeters, Or 6 Feet 5 Inches

Selkie, the Sea Rescue hero from My Hero Academia.

Even if his attempts at being "cute" merely annoy his sidekick Sirius, Selkie is still an impressive pro hero who usually appears in My Hero Academia filler episodes as an aquatic crimefighter. Selkie is shaped like a seal and can even use organic sonar to locate criminals on the open seas.

Selkie isn't exactly small, either. He ranks among the tallest pro heroes at 195 centimeters, though he'd rather be horizontal and swimming in the water than stand on dry land and show off how tall he is. In the water, it's less about height and more about swimming speed.

8 Endeavor - 195 Centimeters, Or 6 Feet 5 Inches

The fire-based pro hero Endeavor is Selkie's height, and unlike his easygoing aquatic counterpart, Endeavor is perfectly happy to tower over everyone and intimidate them with his height, fire, and harsh attitude to make a strong impression. He doesn't exactly radiate All Might's dazzling charisma.

Endeavor is known for many things, from his tyrannical parenting style to his quest to atone for past wrongs, while also proving his worth as the new #1. He is also smart, using intuitive and practical means to teach Shoto, Izuku, and Bakugo how to sharpen their Quirks.

7 Sir Nighteye - 200 Centimeters, Or 6 Feet 6.75 Inches

Sir Nighteye Sees The Future In My Hero Academia

It's not always easy to tell in My Hero Academia, but the suit-wearing hero Sir Nighteye is actually one of the tallest pro heroes and one of the tallest men overall in the story. He is a towering 200 centimeters tall, meaning he barely has to look up to meet All Might's eyes.

Sir Nighteye isn't the physical type, though. He's most effective as a pencil-pushing sidekick or agency manager, using his brains and his Foresight Quirk to track crime before it even happens. He's not helpless up close, though. Sir Nighteye can easily handle melee combat with the benefit of knowing his enemy's moves ahead of time.

6 Gang Orca - 202 Centimeters, Or 6 Feet 7.5 Inches

Another aquatic hero, the whale-based Gang Orca, makes it into the top 10 tallest pro heroes of all. Unlike Selkie, Gang Orca can use his Quirk effectively on dry land, though of course, his Orcinus Quirk works even better in the water.

In the story, Gang Orca's main battle pitted him against the students Shoto Todoroki and Inasa Yoarashi in a mock fight during the provisional hero license exam. Gang Orca was deeply impressed when the boys combined their Quirks to put him on the defensive with hot, dry winds.

5 Death Arms - 205 Centimeters, Or 6 Feet 8.75 Inches

Not a lot is known about the pro hero Death Arms, but he certainly ranks among the tallest pro heroes. He's also got a brawny physique to match, suggesting that he is most effective in close-quarters combat against villains and criminals on the streets.

Death Arms' unnamed Quirk grants him incredible strength in his arms, allowing him to lift and move objects that normally require cranes or industrial machinery to move, which should help him pummel villains into submission. In theory, he could even be a decent wielder of One For All.

4 Big Red Dot - 215 Centimeters, Or 7 Feet 0.75 Inches

big red dot

The movie World Heroes' Mission, as per its title, took place all over the globe and introduced pro heroes from other nations, such as Egypt's papyrus hero Salaam and Singapore's top hero, the lion-headed Big Red Dot. But this tall hero's Quirk is actually based on water, not on fighting like a lion.

Big Red Dot's name and Quirk are both modeled after his home nation. His hero name refers to how Singapore is called a "big red dot" on world maps, and his ability to shoot water from his mouth likely refers to the Merlion statue found in real-life Singapore.

3 All Might - 220 Centimeters, Or 7 Feet 2.5 Inches

All Might smiling at the camera in My Hero Academia

The symbol of peace himself, All Might, is certainly one of the tallest and brawniest pro heroes of all when he is in his muscle form. All Might isn't quite the tallest, but he is still a giant who looms over practically every villain or criminal who get in his way.

All Might is the 8th wielder of One For All, having trained hard to obtain the tall, beefy body necessary to contain this Quirk's immense power. Notably, he was originally born skinny and Quirkless, which actually made him an even more ideal wielder of One For All. He was an empty vessel waiting to be filled.

2 Fat Gum - 250 Centimeters, Or 8 Feet 2 Inches

Fat Gum absorbs ally for protection in My Hero Academia anime

The BMI hero, Fat Gum, is nearly as wide as he is tall, so viewers might underestimate just how tall this pro hero really is. He is an incredible 250 centimeters tall, meaning he is noticeably taller than the huge All Might, and he's got more girth, too.

Fat Gum can absorb people into his body fat either to transport them safely or simply capture them. On defense, Fat Gum can absorb the kinetic energy of enemy attacks with his body fat. Then, he can convert that energy into strength, become skinny, and beat his foes into oblivion.

1 Godzillo - 400 Centimeters, Or 13 Feet 1.5 Inches

Gozillo roams through the city as heroes watch in My Hero Academia

The titanic pro hero Godzillo hasn't actually said or done much in My Hero Academia's story, having made just a brief appearance in the Two Heroes movie. He warmly greeted Izuku and Melissa Shield in passing during their time together on I-Island, but he didn't do much fighting.

As per his hero name, Godzillo is a scaled-down Godzilla, king of the monsters, and he is even capable of photosynthesis. Notably, his hero costume is based on Elvis Presley, the King of Rock, to maintain the "king" theme. He certainly is flashy.
