In the hero-dominated world of My Hero Academia, the Quirks many people envy would be those like Bakugo Katsuki's Explosion or Todoroki Shoto's Half-Hot, Half-Cold. Being traditionally powerful Quirks, they'd be the standard for any kids aspiring to join the ranks of Pro-Heroes when they grow up.

However, as various heroes in MHA have shown, even the least violent of Quirks can be invaluable for hero work. Here's a few of the series' most benign Quirks and how their wielders changed them into abilities their teammates have grown to count on.

Recovery Girl's Heal Quirk Brings a Kiss of Good Fortune

Recovery Girl Takes A Walk In My Hero Academia

The world of heroes is fraught with many dangers. As Midoriya Izuku found on many occasions, even training to become one often involves various bodily injuries. Without proper care, these injuries would result in debilitating conditions. Luckily, Shuzenji Chiyo, more popularly known as the Youthful Hero: Recovery Girl, mitigates these dangers with her Heal Quirk.

By giving anyone a kiss, Recovery Girl stimulates their body's natural healing process. Her Quirk speeds the process up several fold, and she's been known to mend broken bones and other injuries of similar magnitude within seconds. Since the Quirk only speeds up the healing process, Recovery Girl's patients still need rest proportional to the severity of their injuries. For minor scrapes and scratches, however, they're usually good to go right after a healing session.

Monoma Neito's Copy Quirk Turns Opponents' Abilities Against Them

Anime My Hero Academia Neito Monoma Copy Quirk Harden

No one in My Hero Academia is more aware of Copy's limits than Monoma himself. He's even referred to his Quirk as one more befitting of a side character. However, since this was at odds with his philosophy of being the main character of his own life, he had to train his Quirk until it was one befitting his starring role.

It was impressive enough that Monoma passed the UA entrance exam with Copy, but he still constantly strives to justify his inclusion. He automatically affords any team he's part of increased flexibility with their Quirks and, after using so many different ones, he's developed a knack for analyzing them on the fly. Monoma's level-headedness at all times allows him to use Copy to turn the superior Quirks of his opponents against them immediately. So far, no other Quirk has been immune to it.

Eri's Rewind Quirk Can Revert Organic Matter to a Previous State

Eri smiling broadly as she tastes a candy apple

Rewind may never be suited for battle, but Eri's Quirk makes her far from helpless -- no matter what her young age might suggest. Rewind is the power to revert organic matter to its previous state, and the Quirk's broad description means it potentially has the most applications out of any shown in MHA so far.

The previous state Rewind changes its subject to depends entirely on Eri's wishes. Once, when her Quirk first manifested, she rewound her father back into nothingness. After she learned better control over it, she was able to rewind Togata Mirio to the version of himself that had never been hit by a Quirk-erasing bullet. Overhaul even remarked that Eri night be capable of devolving someone from a human back into a prehistoric ape. One thing's for sure -- Rewind is definitely high on the list of My Hero Academia's most powerful Quirks.

Eraserhead's Erasure Quirk Lets His Eyesight Remove Opponents' Quirks

Eraser Head activating his quirk in My Hero Academia.

In a world where many villains depend solely on their Quirks to fight heroes, the ability to erase Quirks for a moment is an automatic advantage for any hero wielding it. Eraserhead might not have any flashy super moves, but his Erasure in conjunction with his martial arts skills and binding cloth support item makes him a force that even an army of villains would rather not reckon with.

Eraserhead's Quirk is sight-based. Once he activates it, everyone within his eyeline loses their Quirks momentarily until the effect goes away when he blinks. Its activation period might seem shorter than optimal but within his limited window, Eraserhead has successfully foiled strategies that villains such as Overhaul and Shigaraki Tomura thought were foolproof. It's never a good idea to underestimate Class 1-A's homeroom teacher.

Nighteye's Foresight Quirk Worked On and Off the Battlefield

My Hero Academia - Sir Nighteye

All Might's former sidekick Nighteye had the unique ability to peer into anyone's future as long as he fulfilled two conditions. First, he needed direct physical contact with who he wanted to his Quirk on and second, he needed to look into their eyes. After fulfilling both requirements, he could watch a third-person playback of that person's future as much as he wanted for one hour.

As a hero, Nighteye used his Quirk to confirm speculation and even found an ingenious method to use it in combat. Once Foresight was activated, he could keep viewing a few seconds into his opponent's future. Having foreknowledge of their moves meant dodging attacks was quite elementary for Nighteye, and whenever he did choose to strike, it would be a guaranteed hit.

Yaoyorozu Momo's Creation Quirk Shines Through Her Intelligence

Yaoyorozu Creating A Canon With Her Creation Quirk

As enviable as the all-purpose Creation is, the Quirk only really gets to shine because of Yaoyaorozu's intellect. Creation allows her to make anything she wants out of the lipids in her body, as long as she understands the object's molecular make-up. In order to use her Quirk to its fullest potential, Yaoyorozu is always studying, increasing the pool of items she can create and becoming a better hero in the process.

Creation makes Yaoyorozu one of the most unpredictable Class 1-A students to deal with. The ability to instantly manifest any tool or weapon is plenty on its own but Yaoyorozu is also a master strategist. As soon as she enters battle, she begins plotting her victory. As a result, her actions and instructions may not make much sense in the moment but they invariably pay off in the end. Coupled with her intellect and infinite stock of items her Quirk gives her, a win is almost always assured.

Ragdoll's Search Quirk Made Her Perfect For Rescue Situations and More

Ragdoll's Quirk made her the perfect chaperone for heroes-in-training looking to get stronger. Search gave her all the information she needed about the person she trained her Quirk on, and the ability to pinpoint the location of up to 100 people anywhere on the planet. In conjunction with the rest of the Wild Wild Pussycats, she was able to help identify the ways in which UA students were still lacking, and help them grow stronger in other ways.

As a hero, Ragdoll used her Quirk both to assist in fighting villains and for rescue purposes. Search allowed her to keep track of victims trapped in a disaster area, as well as villains who might be approaching. She could also use her Quirk to identify the villains' weaknesses so the more combat-oriented heroes could exploit them.

Twice's Double Quirk Created MHA's Most Coordinated Army

Twice Goes On A Crime Spree In My Hero Academia

Twice's Quirk allowed him to make an exact duplicate of any item, as long as he knew its exact measurements. He could duplicate inanimate and animate objects alike, including other humans and himself. For personal reasons, he declined to make copies of himself until that was the only way he could save his dear friend, Toga.

When Twice finally got over the complex that made him unable to duplicate himself, his Quirk's true power was shown. He created the best coordinated army the world had ever seen in seconds and laid waste to the Meta Liberation Army's forces. Being able to create duplicates of an object doesn't seem like a dangerous Quirk at first, but Twice showed just how deadly it could be in a pinch.

All For One - All For One

The mastermind behind the League of Villains -- and almost every other villain activity in My Hero Academia -- isn't one many would expect to feature on this list. After all, he was able to go toe-to-toe with All Might. However, a lot of his power originates from the Quirks he's stockpiled over the years. His original ability, All For One, isn't much of an offensive Quirk on its own.

All For One allows its wielder to steal the Quirk of anyone they grab permanently, rendering the victim Quirkless. On its own, the Quirk wouldn't be much help in a fight; but throughout the series, All For One has proved just how far a slow and steady approach to greatness, stealing desirable Quirks one at a time, can take someone determined enough to have it all.
