Hawks' smile is cocky and a little laid-back, but no less reassuring. He doesn't let the public see himself down or despairing, always presenting himself as someone who is capable and unperturbed. Though not the same as All Might's, Hawks' smile puts people at ease.

Thanks to both his upbringing and his mission with the League of Villains, Hawks is intimately acquainted with the bad sides of society. He's seen the way villains are corrupted and how they, in turn, corrupt others.

Hawks has an understanding of villains that All Might never had, due to his position and privilege. All Might has never worked with villains and has never been close to villains. Hawks has been close with villains, and in turn, is able to give them empathy when necessary. Because Hawks has seen the worst of society up close, he is able to give them understanding.

8 Hawks Is Incredibly Fast & Efficient

There's a reason Hawks is referred to as the fastest hero. Hawks is not only a fast flyer but also fast to react and take action. He is able to quickly assess the problem and come to a quick solution.

Hawks' Quirk, Fierce Wings, also allows for a greater area of efficiency. His detachable feathers allow for freedom of movement not possible with power Quirks like All Might's or Endeavor's. With his feathers, he is able to save multiple civilians at a time without breaking a sweat.

7 Hawks' Goal Is Similar To All Might's Own

Hawks' goal for heroes to have too much free time sounds selfish on the surface. Hawks envisions a world where he and other heroes can take it easy and coast on by, and not be burdened by constant threats.

In reality, Hawks goal is rather altruistic. Hawks wishes for a world where crime is low and heroes are not needed as much. It is a world where the streets of Japan are safer and life is easier for everyone, not just heroes. Hawks wishes for a world at peace, much like All Might himself.

6 Hawks Has Unflinching Convictions

Despite all the pain Hawks has been through, he never wavers in his convictions. Hawks holds fast to his optimism for a brighter future where heroes have too much free time. His fighting spirit is necessary to be a symbol for people to look up to.

Losing his wings wasn't enough to bring him down. Even after losing something so integral to himself, Hawks continues to be steadfast in his views. He holds onto hope even in the darkest times and is able to face off with even the deadliest of villains because of his unflinching spirit.

As the Symbol of Peace, All Might worked to make Japan safer and greatly reduced crime and villainy. However, his method of making the world safer didn't address any of the issues underlying why crime and villainy took place.

Hawks also desires to make a change in the world. He sees how All Might's legacy and impact have failed, and wants to improve on what All Might already started. Hawks desires for more progress to be made on stopping crime and villainy, and he works towards that goal wholeheartedly.

4 Hawks Is Young & Full Of Life

Hawks is the youngest hero to ever hit the top ten in Japan. Through a combination of hard work, popularity, and strength, he was able to ascend the hero rankings incredibly fast. His youthfulness gives him an edge compared to older Pro Heroes in many ways.

Because he is so young, Hawks naturally has more stamina than other pros. Hawks' youth also makes him more open to different ideas, unlike his older counterparts. This would make him a long-lasting Symbol of Peace who is open to change when needed, with enough stamina and vigor to inspire and lead others.

Hawks has managed to develop a rapport with those he has chosen to serve and protect. He presents himself as open and approachable and takes time to greet his fans. He is not cold like Endeavor, or unapproachable like All Might. Hawks presents himself as warm and receptive to the people of Fukuoka and sets their minds at ease.

A Symbol of Peace must stand tall in the face of adversity. They must be a light to guide those around them, and they must do whatever it takes to protect that light. As the Number 2 Hero, Hawks inspires others with his actions and deeds.

Beyond that, Hawks has pledged to do whatever it takes to save people from tyranny, even if that means losing it all. Hawks is willing to risk everything for the good of the people, even his reputation. A hero willing to sacrifice everything is wholly worthy of being the Symbol of Peace.
