The following contains major spoilers for My Hero Academia Chapter 376, "On Knife’s Edge" by Horikoshi Kohei, Caleb Cook and John Hunt, available now in English from Viz Media.

When My Hero Academia’s final war began, the members of Class 1-A were scattered across the various battlefronts. This strategy was in keeping with the heroes’ plan to divide and conquer All For One’s army of villains, but Kurogiri’s escape has forced them to abandon this approach.

Not only has the Warp Gate user brought the original League of Villains back together, but now in Chapter 376, he has inadvertently organized a mini-reunion for a few members of Class 1-A.

How Class 1-A Has Fared In My Hero Academia’s Final War

Kyoka Jiro and Fumikage Tokoyami were a part of the Gunga Villa force meant to keep the low-level villains at bay. However, after Endeavor’s injury, the duo stepped up to assist Hawks in confronting All For One himself. It was through their efforts that the Demon Lord’s military grade helmet was finally shattered, giving Endeavor the first real opportunity to inflict some serious damage on All For One. Had they been absent, Hawks and Endeavor might’ve still been struggling against a prime AFO without any time limits.

Uraraka Ochaco and Tsuyu Asui were originally deployed to Okutu Island with Gang Orca and his team to neutralize Himiko Toga. Compared to the other battlefronts, the heroes at Okutu were having more success in dealing with their charges until the tide suddenly shifted heavily in the villain’s favor. After being backed into a corner, Toga was forced to unleash her Sad Man’s Parade earlier than planned. As it happened, Kurogiri was freed at almost the same time and turned up to transport Toga and her army to Gunga Villa. As they hadn’t yet fulfilled their objective, Tsuyu and Uraraka jumped in Kurogiri’s portal after Toga, getting to Gunga Villa right in the nick of time.

As Uraraka and Tsuyu hovered above the sea of flames and battling heroes, they were joined by Tokoyami and Jiro. Their reunion was a bittersweet one as both parties acknowledged that their respective goals hadn’t been achieved yet. Uraraka noticed Jiro’s still-bleeding ear, but in the heat of battle there was no way to get her the medical attention she needed. Even so, Jiro refused to allow them fawn over her, saying she counted herself lucky that a lost speaker was her only casualty from battling All For One.

How Class 1-A Has Matured Since My Hero Academia Began

The 1-A students discussing the war and resolvimg to take down Toga

For most of My Hero Academia, the UA students have experienced a cushioned version of the realities of being a Pro Hero, but this grace period has been over ever since the Paranormal Liberation War. They’re full-fledged Pro Heroes now and seem to understand the responsibilities that title comes with. The final war is at a pivotal moment and is more dangerous than it has ever been. Dabi’s flames and Toga’s clones have taken complete control of the battlefield but the gathered 1-A students are refusing to back down.

Uraraka and Tsuyu understand that their job isn’t done yet and, despite how insurmountable the challenge of overcoming a Sad Man’s Parade seems to be, they are dead set on taking her down to win the war. Ever the supportive friends, Tokoyami, Jiro and the others are in complete agreement with the Okutu Island team and are more than willing to lend their support. They’re a tiny resistance in a war that they frankly should not be participating in but, as Japan’s last hope, the 1-A kids have no choice but to fight. If anyone might be able to get into Toga’s head, it’s Uraraka.
