The following contains spoilers for My Hero Academia Chapter 357, "Wounded Hero, Burning Bright and True" by Horikoshi Kohei, Caleb Cook and John Hunt, available now in English from Viz Media.

Endeavor's Hellflame Quirk is easily one of the strongest in all of My Hero Academia. The #1 Pro Hero's ability allows him to manifest flames from his body and control them freely, as well as form fiery constructs to aid him in battle. The inherent danger of his flames means Endeavor has always had to fight very carefully, making sure not to cause excess collateral damage with his scorching attacks -- until now. Against All For One, the Todoroki patriarch definitely isn't pulling any punches -- and his Plus Ultra Hellflame attacks have been more than effective against the Demon Lord.

After his brief respite, Endeavor has been revived as a new fighter. Before his injury and subsequent absence from the fight, he was engaging All For One's attempts at distraction, giving the villain several opportunities to undermine his psyche. He returned to the fight with only one objective: to take AFO down. Endeavor's new conviction was unshakable, and even losing his arm couldn't faze him. He simply recreated it with flames and proceeded to pummel the grand villain with nonstop attacks from his new fiery appendage.

For the first time since this fight began, All For One began to worry about his safety. His helmet had been shattered by the one-two combo of Hawks' lightning-fast strike and Tokoyami Fumikage's Abyssal Black Body Ragnarok Fleeting Blow. Endeavor's sudden ferocity arriving so soon after this onslaught made AFO fear defeat from someone other than All Might for the first time. He was completely at Endeavor's mercy without his Quirk, and could do little else but try to defend himself against the living inferno that was relentlessly consuming him.

Even though his wild attacks gave the impression of one attacking indiscriminately in their pain, Endeavor was keeping a surprisingly clear head throughout his rematch. He planned to break All For One's defenses with his overwhelming heat before finally finishing him completely with a Prominence Burn.

Since his sensory Quirks weren't responding anymore, All For One couldn't sense Endeavor anymore, but they might not have helped anyway as the Flame Hero was moving faster than ever before; Hawks had once again attached some of his feathers to Endeavor, giving him a speed boost as he battered All For One.

Endeavor began his final assault by slamming All For One to the ground with a gigantic Jet Burn from his flame hand. The Demon Lord landed right in the middle of the warring heroes and villains, hotly pursued by Endeavor. The #1 Pro Hero's descent came with an extraordinary increase in temperature, forcing everyone else to flee his vicinity or risk immolation. All For One made a desperate attempt to steal Endeavor's Quirk but before he could even move to grasp, the hero had his hand charred by flames released from Endeavor's eyes.

This determination to finish All For One allowed Endeavor to access strength that had been previously inaccessible to him in My Hero Academia. He awoke from his reverie with a clear idea of how to achieve his goal of atonement: by leaving behind a brighter future for the next generation of heroes. He vowed to never let his mistakes impede their happiness, and that included his inability to finish off All For One when they first clashed.

Shoto's combined ice and fire Quirk may have made him the perfect flame hero, but the raw power and versatility with which Endeavor used his Hellflame Quirk in Chapter 357 showed how invaluable extended Quirk training can be.
