MGM Still Controls The Horizontal With Outer Limits Movie

MGM may be in financial trouble, but they're still moving forward with some projects - including a big-screen version of sci-fi anthology The Outer Limits. Because, clearly, that's going to save the studio.

Empire is reporting that the studio has tasked Saw writers Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan to come up with a script for the movie, although it's still unclear whether the finished version - if it ever comes - will be an anthology of shorts or one story stretched across the length of the movie.

The original Outer Limits ran from 1963 to 1965, and then underwent a revival thirty years later, with new episodes running from 1995 to 2002.
