It looks like ace New York Mets pitcher Noah Syndergaard is ready to take his comics fandom to the next level — he's already jokingly threatened his team's mascot, Mr Mets, with a replica of Lucille, Negan's barbed-wire baseball bat from "The Walking Dead," and now the long-haired fastball-throwing Thor-alike is set to further personify Marvel's version of the Norse Thunder God as a bobblehead collectable.RELATED: "Thor: Ragnarok" Draws From Big Trouble in Little ChinaWhile it seems the finished product has not yet been produced, the Mets recently posted a "first look" preview of the upcoming Syndergaard/Thor bobblehead on their Twitter feed.

The team then revealed that the collectable will be presented, in association with Delta Air Lines, to the first 15,000 fans attending their July 22 match-up against the Oakland Athletics. Tickets for the game are already available via the Mets' website.

Fans eagerly anticipating Thor's next big screen outing will have to wait a little longer though — “Thor: Ragnarok," which is directed by Taika Waititi and stars Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba, Anthony Hopkins, Cate Blanchett, Tessa Thompson, Jeff Goldblum, Karl Urban and Mark Ruffalo, is not set to be released in theaters until November 3, 2017.
