Metroid Dread has 14 item upgrades scattered throughout Ferenia for Samus Aran to find. There six Missile Tanks, two Missile+ Tanks, four Energy Parts and two Power Bomb Tanks, and player who want to acquire every collectible will need to first unlock all of Samus' most advanced abilities, including the Power Bomb and the Space Jump. Collecting everything from Ferenia will reward players with Chozo Archives entry number seven in the Extras Gallery.
As a general rule while treasure hunting, keep all rooms clear of enemies. In most cases, they are simply a nuisance, but they can prevent the successful completion of a Speed Booster platforming puzzle. These speed sections are challenging, require precise timing and demand repetition to master. Although difficult, pulling off a Speed Booster challenge is a rewarding experience in its own right.
How to Find All of Ferenia's Missile Tanks
#1: After exiting the Ghavoran elevator room, drop to the water close to the left wall and lay a Cross Bomb just above the water to destroy the hidden Bomb Block. Quickly jump to the opened Morph Ball tunnel before the Bomb Block reappears. In the next room are two rows of hidden Pitfall Blocks. Use Samus' Space Jump to reach the ledge with the Missile Tank. Be careful not to drop too low where she falls through the bottom layer of Pitfall Blocks.
#2: Samus must jump toward the Bomb Blocks and lay a Cross Bomb. After falling through the Pitfall Blocks, quickly climb up and jump to the ledge where the Missile Tank is before the blocks reappear.
#3: If using the Cyan Teleportal, all that stands between Samus and this upgrade are some Beam Blocks. Otherwise, destroy the Bomb and Power Bomb Blocks.
#4: Jump from the ledge by the Power Beam door and lay a Cross Bomb to destroy the column of Bomb Blocks. Then, use the Space Jump to pass through the Morph Ball tunnel and collect this upgrade.
#5: Starting in the room with the row of pink Bomb Blocks, use the Speed Booster moving left through the set of Power Beam doors and slide to destroy the first set of Speed Booster Blocks. Destroy the Beam Blocks and then the Grapple Beam Block.
Return to the room with the row of Bomb Blocks and use the Speed Booster again. This time, ready the Shinespark before sliding through the newly-opened tunnel. Get to the open space where the Grapple Beam Block was, then use the Ball Spark to send Samus shooting along the ice.
#6: The final Missile Tank is in the tower leading to the boss Escue. Destroy the hidden Beam Blocks and use the Space Jump to reach this upgrade.
How to Find All of Ferenia's Missile+ Tanks
#1: This Missile+ Tank is just outside the elevator from Ghavoran, and it's one of the most challenging to acquire in Ferenia. The walkway leading to the Power Beam door is just long enough that Samus can trigger a Speed Boost, otherwise players can start from the other side and shoot open the door while Speed Boosting.
Immediately ready a Shinespark once Samus triggers the Speed Boost. Without using the Shinespark, jump onto the above platform and shoot all four of the closest Beam Blocks. Slide under and lay a Cross Bomb to propel Samus over the Pitfall Blocks. Lay a Bomb beneath the Bomb Blocks and, as soon as it explodes, use the Shinespark. Samus will launch upward and destroy the Speed Booster Blocks.
#2: This Missile+ Tank is located just outside the left elevator to Dairon. Build up a Speed Boost in the blue chilled room above the elevator location and shoot open the Power Beam door while Samus is running. Ready a Shinespark, then drop to the ledge with the Beam Blocks and shoot them. Slide through the opening and use the Shinespark to break the Speed Booster Blocks.
How to Find All of Ferenia's Energy Parts
#1: This Energy Part is one of the hardest collectibles to acquire in Ferenia. Begin in the left Dairon elevator room. Build up a Speed Boost, slide into the left room and ready a Shinespark before Samus collides with the wall. Space Jump up the slide, climb through the Morph Ball space, Space Jump partway up the next slide, then Flash Shift to reach the area beneath the Speed Booster Blocks. Immediately use the Shinespark to boost upwards.
#2: This Energy Part is by the rightmost elevator to Dairon. Use Samus' Space Jump to reach the Morph Ball tunnel. Samus only needs to destroy a couple of Bomb Blocks in this tunnel.
#3: Use the Spin Jump to destroy the hidden Screw Attack Blocks to the left of the Recharge Station. Drop a Cross Bomb above the Pitfall Blocks between the two lines of Bomb Blocks, then quickly jump to the Bomb Blocks above the left section of Pitfall Blocks. Shoot the Grapple Beam between the opened path to destroy the Grapple Beam Box. Drop another Cross Bomb to destroy the Bomb Blocks that reappear. Enter the Morph Ball tunnel and follow the path to destroy the next two Bomb Blocks and retrieve the upgrade.
#4: This upgrade is easy to acquire, as players simply need to destroy the Bomb Block.

How to Find All of Ferenia's Power Bomb Tanks
#1: Use a Power Bomb in the upper section of the Twin Robot Chozo Soldier boss room. This will reveal the Power Bomb upgrade and destroy hidden Power Bomb Blocks beneath the uppermost platform.
#2: This upgrade is found in the E.M.M.I. zone. Lay a Power Bomb either on the platform above the Pitfall Blocks or in the Morph Ball tunnel to destroy the obstructing Power Bomb Block.
