A meta-message is where a comic book creator comments on/references the work of another comic book/comic book creator in their comic. Today, based on a e-mail suggestion from Keith Alan Morgan, we look at how Mike Grell revived a character killed in the pages of Warlord after Grell left the book.

After roughly 70 issues, Mike Grell stopped writing the adventures of his creation, Warlord.
