<i>Men In Black III</i> Script Getting Help From <i>Jurassic Park</i> Writer

Men in Black III keeps getting pushed back, a fact that Tommy Lee Jones blamed on sizable script issues in a recent interview with Vulture. While his assertion wasn’t officially supported, a recent hiring by Sony Pictures suggests Jones wasn’t so far off the mark.

David Koepp has been brought on board to spend a few weeks hacking at the script before the most recent production hiatus ends on March 28, Deadline reports. Apparently the film’s time travel sequence still needs to be shot, a plot point which (spoiler alert) sends Will Smith’s Agent J into the past to work with Josh Brolin as a younger version of Tommy Lee Jones’ character on fixing whatever it is that’s gone wrong.

Koepp has penned some fantastic screenplays, including Jurassic Park and Sam Raimi’s original Spider-Man. He also wrote Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull … yikes. Here’s hoping he channels his earlier work for this one.
